Academic Accommodations

Academic accommodation documentation should be no more than 3 years old. Any Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan should also be provided when available.

Accommodations are not considered approved until the review process has been completed and approval has been granted by the Accommodations Team.

Student Responsibilities for Academic Accommodations:

  • Discuss with each professor (initiated by the student) the necessary accommodations for his/her classes.
  • For each new term, or in the event a student has new professors, the student must complete the Academic Renewal process. This includes submitting any updated documentation, uploading their current class schedule, and providing consent for the Director of Disability Services to share accommodation information with their new professors.
