  • Same Day Support

Same-Day Support is offered Monday-Friday, 2:30-3:30. Please fill out this short form. If it is received before noon, a counseling staff member will meet with you that same day. If it is received after noon, we will meet with you the following day. Please watch your campus email for instructions!

Same Day Support is a short, half hour consultation that provides students with an opportunity to meet with a Counseling Center clinician for timely support, problem-solving, and guidance. These conversations are designed to help you navigate a current concern, identify next steps, and connect with resources that can support your well-being.

Same-Day Support is available for students who are:

    • Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or discouraged
    • Experiencing a difficult situation and need support
    • Unsure whether counseling would be helpful
    • Facing a challenge and want help thinking through next steps

During a Same-Day Support visit, a counselor may:

    • Listen and provide a supportive space
    • Help you identify immediate needs and coping strategies
    • Assess safety and provide crisis support when needed
    • Discuss counseling options and referrals
    • Connect you with campus and community resources

Same-Day Support is not a full counseling appointment or intake session. It is a brief half hour consultation intended to provide timely support and help determine the best next step for your needs.

If you are experiencing an urgent mental health concern or are worried about your immediate safety, please let us know when you arrive so we can respond appropriately.
