  • KEYNOTE:Brian and Michelle Davis

Brian attended Moody Bible Institute graduating with a degree in youth ministry and then completed a master's at Alliance Theological Seminary in intercultural studies. Brian also received a teaching certificate in physical education and health from Southern Connecticut State University. Michelle graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a degree in intercultural studies and then pursued a master's in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing.

Brian and Michelle have 4 children: Jacob who is a sophomore at Wheaton College, Jonathan who is a sophomore at Lee University, Karis who's in 10th grade, and Josiah who's in 7th grade.

Brian and Michelle are high school sweethearts who have been married for 28 years.

Before moving overseas to serve in missions, Brian worked as a middle and high school PE and health teachers in NJ public schools while Michelle worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a private practice and in the NICU. Then they served in college and missions ministries at a church in NJ for two years before moving to France for one year of language study and then to Senegal, West Africa.

Brian and Michelle Davis are the Envision NYC site coordinators. Their family transitioned to NYC in 2017 after working in Senegal for nearly a decade. They traded lots of sand and lingering hours sipping tea and talking with neighbors for the fast-paced city life with West African immigrants who live in two worlds...America and their home country. These days they can be found teaching ESL, sharing chronological biblical stories with interested individuals, developing interns & immersion teams, and enjoying the diversity of NYC.
